Don't forget you're not smarter than a 5th grader..

I think I witnessed possibly the dumbest gameshow contestant in TV history. After flunking out immediately on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" on a very easy 1st grade question, she is surprised by Wayne Brady and taken over to play "Don't Forget the Lyrics!". It's clear as soon as she sees the 2 songs she has to choose from that she isn't going to do well on this either. She chose "I Think I Love You" by The Partridge Family. She didn't even know the song or key to sing in. Not to mention she had the worst voice that I've heard on the show yet.

After using a cheat to fill in the blanks she took the only reasonable guess and got the first one correct. Better already than her game on "5th Grader"! Next she picks the theme from "Green Acres". Yeah, the TV show. Doesn't everyone know this?! If you didn't know it from the show you probably knew it from all the headlines and crap that was made over Donald Trump singing it a few years ago. Not this woman. In all her stupidity she brings in a backup singer (It was made to appear she had no idea she'd be surprised with the opportunity to play DFTL!, but it's obvious it was all set up because of her prepared backup singers/friends and her mother in the audience. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole losing act was scripted just for this reason, to get people talking)..but anyway, back to the point..the guy had no idea either so she uses her last cheat and decides to guess and loses her $1000 and was the first player to leave the show without anything.

All I can say is, it's a good thing her stupidity matched her awful voice or I would have tuned out way before she was done. It was ear-piercing. Some people's bad singing is just funny and some are just annoying as all hell.

Fox obviously not content with having gameshows taking over their lineup, they advertised a new game show coming in January. From what I could tell, you are asked potentially embarrassing questions or what you would or wouldn't do for your best friend and gaged on a lie detector. How many comes into it I have no idea, I don't even remember money being mentioned at all. It looked ridiculous but knowing me, I'll probably watch it! Damn you, Fox! I'd probably watch a bird shit if it's made into an HD game show on Fox. Speaking of that, I don't understand why DFTL! is HD and 5th Grader isn't.

Thursday nights need Flyers games instead of Wednesdays. Which, by the way, they kicked the Canes' asses last night, 3-1. Best defense the team has played all year by far. I was going to put some commentary on the game tonight but this game show shit came up and I need to end this now because you're probably not even reading this now. If you are you're really bored. Go do something. I appreciate you reading, but really, why do you care about me this much already? It's only my 4th post. Go on now. Shitpancake Tower.

KITT to be a Mustang in new Knight Rider?

I kind of hated the fact KITT would go from a sweet Pontiac Trans-Am to a Ford Mustang,

but seeing a concept of it now I really like it. It looks more like KITT should look in the future more than a newer Firebird/Corvette/other knock offs.

 I'm also excited to hear that Hasselhoff is considering returning to play a role. 

The only thing that worries me is that they give it the "Bionic Woman" treatment and completely change and fuck everything up. I know they have to make it "hip" for today's generation, but Bionic Woman is just a disgrace, with the only thing related to the classic BW is the fact that it's a woman is who Bionic and uh..the title. It's probably the worse show NBC debuted this year.

While we're on the topic of TV, tonight was the last episode of House til January (unless the strike is still going, then it will more than likely be next fall..ugh I hope not!)

I can't even put in words how happy I was that Cutthroat Bitch (Amber) left. I don't care that much for Thirteen, but since she is basically Cameron it will do I guess.

I'm off to watch the conclusion of this episode of "The Steve Wilkos Show", so I'm outta here.

KITT to be cast as a Ford Mustang

Eagles lose 31-28 in New England

I am still confused about this game. The Eagles were playing so well the entire night with the middle of the field passes and the short passes letting the WR work for a 1st down. If that's all NE is going to give you, then take it and exploit it. And they did until that last drive when they still had 4 minutes left. They do a fucking long pass down field which they haven't been successful in doing all night!! SO fucking ridiculous!! AGAIN, Andy Reid makes a game costing play here. They should have ran the ball or attempted a screen or a short pass. Not go for the bomb. I am convinced they would have won if not for that stupid throw and interception.

On the other hand, AJ Feeley looked very good tonight after he got settled in and shook the rust off. In my mind there is a QB controversy going on already because it seems like any backup that comes in for McNabb has success with this team (some better than others e.g. Garcia last year). I hope they do some WR scouting and trading in the offseason. Should a trade involve McNabb? I don't know...I still want to see what he has in him with some good offense. But his injury list is getting ridiculous and I don't think the Eagles are going to put up with it much longer. But back to the WRs. Because this really pisses me off. I have never seen an organization so dumb and worthless in getting quality WRs. We get one of the best in Stallworth and what happens? He's gone. We constantly take other teams #3 and #4 WR and try to make them OUR #1 and #2, and that isn't going to work anymore. Wake up, Andy. Either step down and let's bring in a coach who can focus on football and only football and knows how to operate at the WR position, or get your ass in the locker room and shake this team up some how.

Flyers play the Bruins tomorrow night at 7 EST, so I'll have my rants about that game tomorrow night. Til then, I guess I should relax because right now I am beyond pissed over the Pats.

Well, I guess I'll try this again. I've had a blog before but never had time to update it. Now that I have nothing to do maybe I'll have some stuff to say. I know I'm really late into blogging now, hell, I should probably be V-logging on YouTube instead but I prefer to type than go on camera. You'll find a bit of everything on here. I'll probably focus mostly on talking about video games and TV/music with occasional political rants or my thoughts on world affairs. All with a humorous take, of course. I'll get to it later though, right now I have to watch the Eagles kick the Pats asses. I think my first rant is going to be my opinion on the QB situation in Philly.
